AGenerally speaking, the minimum defect size that can be identified is greater than the spatial resolution value. According to practical experience, it is basically 2 times or even more than 3 times the pixel size to identify. Since the individual pixel size of the data and the spatial resolution size are equal, if the customer wants to see a sample with a minimum defect of 100 microns, we must control the spatial resolution (accuracy) between 1-50 microns when we perform a CT scan, the higher the resolution, the more visible and the clearer the defect.
